Just saw this on the Well. Apparently, Robert Hunter posted a comment to Dead Net Central about all this, in his usualy cryptical and allusive/elusive way:

The more I learn the more there is to know about this remarkable public relations meltdown. All you saw was the mushroom cloud. My best hope is that by the time its reported in this Sunday’s NY Times’ entertainment section it will be ancient history.

Mushroom cloud, huh? In retrospect, this whole fiasco has been quite funny and entertaining. Frustrating and discouraging, but funny and entertaining at the same time. Let's hope nothing like this happens again.

Amen. It's been a heck of a week, that's for sure. I, for one, am pretty impressed with the way the popular voice was listened to. I just wish that would happen more often in other areas.

Ditto to Johnathan's "heck of a week" statement. Someone dropped an article on my desk today from a local paper. Big pic of Jerry with summary. She said "did you see this"? SEE IT! I've been living and breathing it for 9 days now. Anyway, nice for her to think of me.
